Natasha Walker has trained with The Temple Institute Of Martial Arts since the age of eight. Originally starting with Kung Fu under the tuition of the late Steve Cattenach, she later also took up Kickboxing, under the guidance of Temple Head Coach and WKA & WAKO Scotland President, Robert Smith. She is a Black Belt in Kickboxing and a 1st Degree Black Sash in Kung Fu.

On Sunday 6th July, 2008, Natasha was the only competitor from Perth to make the trip down to Berkshire for the CIMAC World Cup, but did so with fantastic success. After a particularly long day, she came away with 1st in Ladies Light Contact (-65kg), 3rd in Semi Contact (-65kg), and then went on to win the Womens Gladiator Challenge (Ladies Semi Contact Open Weight) in awesome style, defeating fighters from Ireland, Italy, England and Wales. Well done!

This was also the first event that Natasha fought for the GBMAA Elite Team. Our friends at GBMAA recently asked Tasha to be part of their Elite Squad, and as she will shortly be training and working with GBMAA for a year, when she takes her "gap" year, it is something that she is looking forward to immensely.

On Sunday 13th July, at the final WAKO GB Squad Training session , Tasha was pleased to hear that she has made the Great Britain Team that will be travelling to Italy in September for the WAKO World Championships. Congratulations!
